All the News About this Friday's Island City Art Walk

Starting at 7pm Friday February 18th and continuing until at least 10pm, the Island City Art Walk on Wilton Drive will have some exciting new changes for this month.

Wilton Manors Main Street is proud to announce the collaboration of Ellen Charapko Gallery with Gables Wilton Park to add new exhibition space at Friday Night's Island City Art Walk.

This Island City Art Walk, Wilton Manors Main Street will have two artists for you to view.  First, returning to us on the outside will be Claudia Castillo.  Claudia has been with us for the last few Island City Art Walks and enjoys the vibe and the opportunity to show her art to the people here.  We're happy to have her return to us.   You can read more about Claudia and her bio at this link.

Exhibiting indoors at Wilton Manors Main Street will be Barbara Jeneava Lloyd.  Barbara's works are in Acrylics and Mixed Media and have been exhibited in New York City and South Beach.  Here is a chance for you to see her works for yourself here in Wilton Manors.  You can read more about Barbara and her bio here.

Finally, Ellen Charapko Gallery has arranged with the Gables Wilton Park for Alternative Space.  Ellen Charapko Gallery, Alternative Space, will present selections from the body of work of: Cesar Garcia, Silvio Gayton and Joaquín González. This is a special, one night only presentation which will coincide with the Island City Art Walk on Friday, February 18, 2011, 7 - 10 pm. Location: 2184 Wilton Drive in the new "Gables" complex.

Three blocks north from the Alternative Space in the Gables complex, the Ellen Charapko Gallery (main gallery), will be presenting a solo show for San Francisco artist, Tim Yankosky. "Drastic Measures" will run through April 6th, 2011.

Wilton Manors is fast becoming the newest art hub in South Florida.
